EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS                                                      

I have completed Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) with First Class Degree in 2003.

TOTAL EXPERIENCE: Piping Engineer, with 22+ years of experience (from June 2003 to November 2025) in Project Management/Piping design/layout/Material/Stress analysis.

CAREER SUMMARY

  • Piping PMC role (Dy. Piping Lead) for ADNOC project (Feed & EPCM). Plot Plan, Layouts, piping, material, data sheet, MR, TBE, stress analysis, hazop and other safety study, process design review, constructability study technical query/discussion with Contractor & Vendor on behalf of COMPANY and with COMPANY Central Engineering Team etc.
    • Pipe stress analysis for Blast, transport, water wave impact etc. for different lines for both fixed and floating platform.
    • Pipe stress Study of Bridge lines between two-fixed platforms, Import and Export Riser lines.
    • Stress study for FRP/GRP pipes.
    • Nema Load check for compressor and turbine inlet and outlet nozzle. API 610 combined Nozzle load check for Pumps
    • Pig Launcher Piping stress analysis.  Buried pipe stress analysis.  Pressure safety valve lines (both open and closed) piping
    • Stress analysis of bare pipe, hot insulated, cold insulated, rack piping, pump, exchanger, vessel, column, compressor, Air Fin Coole and Turbine integral/External Piping etc.
    • Stress analysis of Main Steam (P91/P92, 243 bar, 5650 C), Hot Reheat (P91/P92, 73 bar, 6000 C) Cold Reheat, HP-LP bypass, Feed Water Discharge (200+bar A106 Gr C & 15NiMoNb5-6-4), Boiler Feed Pump Turbine Discharge Lines & Condenser Cooling water discharge lines etc.
    • Stress analysis of ASU, Cold Box integral (Temperature upto -196 °C, Pressure 1.8 bar) & External piping (Temperature upto 300 °C& Pres 34 bar).
    • Jacketed pipe stress analysis.  Spider location, core jacket joint load, stress etc.
    • WRC nozzle/FEM load checking, flange leakage checking, dummy stress, Ball joint and universal joint pipe/pump analysis etc.  
    • Spring & Bellow selection and MR preparation. Bellow selection (tied, untied and universal etc.)
    • Wind, seismic, snow and fatigue analysis. Dynamic pipe stress analysis. Center of gravity of system
  • Apart from Caesar II (version 4.4 to 14, 2023) other software experience.

At Rohr 2 (31.0/31.1/31.2) & Auto Pipe (2004/XM)

  • Stress analysis of Main Steam (P91/P92, 243 bar, 5650 C), Hot Reheat (P91/P92, 73 bar, 6000 C) Cold Reheat, Feed Water Discharge etc. Stress analysis of bare pipe, hot insulated, pump system, wind etc.

At Nozzle Pro

  • Equipment Nozzle load checking & SIF calculation.

Using “INTERGRAPH” PDS 3D & SP3D software

  • Support modelling at SP3D,Equipment Modeling & Positioning of Equipment & its Nozzle as per Study Drawing, Routing pipes through pipe designer at PDS. Extraction of Isometric Drawing at PDS.

Using “Pelican Forge” Support modeling software

  • Support selection, modeling (Exp. of both European & Indian steel).

Other experience

  • 2D Drawing at Auto CAD & MicroStation.Isometric checking with P&ID.
  • Yard Piping planning (Include sleeper and Pipe Bridge planning) etc.

Also, I have little experience of Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Dye Penetration testing. I have done online Inspection of Pipes and Non-Destructive Testing of Bullet etc.   

KEY ACHIEVEMENT

  • Piping PMC role (as Dy. Piping Lead Engineer) for ADNOC projects.
  • Stress analysis of pipes at fixed platform due to water wave effect.  I performed this without prior experience for TYRA offshore platform (for both phases) at North Sea, Denmark. 
  • CRITICAL PIPE STRESS ANALYSIS.  At Alstom Noida first time, I had done successfully stress analysis of Critical pipe as mentioned below (without any backup & support) and got approval by the veteran Expert Piping stress analyst from Alstom France. 
  • PROJECT LEAD.  At Alstom India within a year of joining, I had given responsibility of different tenders as Project lead for Arrangement & piping apart from my core competence Stress analysis.  
  • CRYOGENIC PIPE STRESS ANALYSIS. At Airliquide China successfully completed Cryogenic pipe stress analysis without any prior experience and support at foreign non-English speaking country.
  • BURRIED PIPE STRESS ANALYSIS. At CH2M HILL successfully completed stress analysis of very large, buried pipe (upto 96”) with pump, tanks etc equipment’s as per B 31.4 without any prior experience.

  • Working on P5.0 Das Island offshore Green/ Brown filed projects (for both Feed/Define and EPCM stage) as Sr Piping Engineer (Deputy Lead) on PMC role. Apart from that I have worked on Meram, Carbon Recovery Unit along with the above project on the same PMC role etc.

NSL (2X 700MW, IPP), Tanda, Khargone,Suratgarh & Chhabara/Shree Singaji (2X660MW) – India

For above projects, developed BTG layout, did equipment arrangement, critical piping layout and their stress analysis (Main steam, Hot Reheat, Cold reheat, HP & LP Bypass lines, BFPT Exhaust to condenser and Boiler Feed Line), Piping & Valve BOQ, MR Preparation, Cost Estimation, Concept study & Constructability study of TG Hall & discussion with client was also involved.  Apart from this, was also responsible for co-ordination between different departments.

Tilaiya/Sasan (6X600MW)-India

It was 6X660MW Ultra mega power plant for tender (BTG only). Role and work were same as mentioned in the above projects.

Bedabahal (5X800MW)-India

It was 6X660MW Ultra mega power plant for tender (BTG only). Role and work same as mentioned in the above projects.

Orion (1X660MW)- Bangladesh

It was 6X660MW Ultra mega power plant for tender (BTG only). Role and work same as mentioned in the above projects.

Solapur (2X660MW)-India

Role was as Mentor for stress analysis of super critical & critical lines.

DHDS (Clean Fuel Project)- Thailand

All Stress critical lines (as Compressor lines, Air-fin cooler inlet and outlet pipes, Heater pipes etc) were under consideration. Apart from the stress analysis, was responsible for support selection, spring selection, and Rack piping.

Work as assistant lead stress engineer for 9 units. Work was system preparation, stress analysis, nozzle load verification, dummy length calculation, IFC isometric etc.

In this project, I had modeled some line and checked all Isometrics.
